I got a tattoo today!

Well not a permenant one. It was my first time ever having my body painted and Gina Thompson did such a good job. Phoenix store up in Dockyard had their grand opening today and everything was free!

DIY at Home, Make a Summer Dress

This is my next project, it's fairly easy. So go and pick up the elastic thread (only $1.59 at Qui-jah fabrics), get yourself some fabric, and sew away! Should be a quick project. Send me a photo of your completed dress and I'll post.

GIFT IDEAS FOR MOTHERS

Ok, so if you are like me then you shop for gifts at the very last minute. Here are some ideas that I have to give to my mom that you can use as well:

1)FLOWERS - A nice colorful assortment. This is always a hit with moms and grandmothers.

2) JEWELRY- As if mine needs anymore! But I am thinking something timeless, maybe something from Tiffany's or a nice classic watch from Crissions. (i.e. Rolex or Yurman)

3)CAMERA/TECH GADGET - If your mom needs a new one go down to P-Tech or M&Ms. It may be too late to order from Amazon.

4) RESTAURANT VOUCHER -I like to give my mother this as a gift because she likes to dine with friends every now and then.

5) SPA & HAIR - gift certificates are always a winner!

6) SENTIMENTAL - Now if you want to be creative you could go to shutterfly.com or an imprintable company and order a customisable photoalbum, calendar with all your family pictures or a mug with you guys pictured together.

DON'T GIVE HER THINGS LIKE A COOKBOOK, DIY KIT OR ANYTHING WHERE SHE IS FORCED TO WORK, UNLESS SHE ASKS. After all it's Mother's Day and she deserves to be pampered.

The Remnant's New Album

I am so proud to say that my friend John Jordan has released his second album. When we met in college his group "The Remnant" were just starting out. Now they are really blossoming.

Their new 2009 album is titled PB&J: Players, Babes and Jesus. It is an album filled with good songs for good people and bad songs for bad people. "If you think the album could be better, then become a better person," so The Remnant says.
